The season usually extends from about July 4th until Labor Day.
 Quality Blueberries since 1948

The crop looks good for this season.  We usually have good to excellent picking, because we have organized picking. Local honey, jam, and juice are available.  We accept cash and checks but not credit cards or food stamps. We have boxes to purchase or you are welcome to bring your own containers to take your berries home. Picnic tables are shaded by giant oak trees.  Sanitation regulations no longer allow dogs in the field.  Enjoy a pleasant day in the country while getting a supply of delicious and healthful Blueberries.

Directions: From I94:  We are on County Road 1000 North just 4 miles from LaPorte Rd. exit of I94 (first exit in Michigan and exit for Four Winds Casino).  From the exit, turn right (south)  on Hwy 239 and cross into Indiana.  After crossing into Indiana, turn right on the first paved road (1000 N).  Go 1.3 miles on 1000 N to the farm.  From the Indiana Toll Road (I80&90): turn right (north) on Hwy 39 and go about 6 miles to County Road 1000 N.  Turn left and go 1.3 miles to the farm.  Note:  Construction on I94 between Portage and Michigan City (US 421) often causes delays.  Exiting at Portage and taking US 20 to Indiana 39 may reduce delay time.  Another alternative from Chicago is the Skyway and the Indiana Toll Road (I80&90).

It is Saturday evening July 17th, 2016.  A very large crowd picked most of the ripe berries today.  Picking will be thin tomorrow Sunday July 18th and Monday July 19th.  We are closed on Tuesdays.  By Wednesday it will be better as more ripen and will continue to improve as the week progresses.  By Saturday there will be excellent picking again.

   Call for more current conditions.

Remember we are closed on Tuesdays.
